Background & Aims: Reshape Duo is a saline-filled dual, integrated intragastric balloon (IGB) approved by the Food and Drug Administration for weight loss in patients with obesity. In a prospective, randomized trial, obese patients who received the balloon had significantly greater percent excess weight loss (%EWL) compared with patients treated with diet and exercise alone. Background: Split-dose bowel preparation (split prep) for colonoscopy has been shown to be superior to conventional dosing (entire dose taken on the evening preceding colonoscopy) and has been endorsed by recent guidelines. A potential limitation is the requirement for patients to wake up early to drink the second half.
