Introduction: Bing-Neel syndrome (BNS) is a rare and heterogenous manifestation of Waldenström macroglobulinemia (WM) involving central nervous system (CNS) infiltration by malignant lymphoplasmacytic cells. Efforts to standardize diagnostic criteria have improved in recent years, as have treatment options including the use of the Bruton tyrosine kinase inhibitor (BTKI) ibrutinib.

Case Presentation: Here, we present the case of a 70-year-old male with a remote history of WM previously treated with bendamustine and rituximab, who presented to medical attention with several months of left-sided weakness, headache, and ataxia.

The management of myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) and chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML) is limited and remains an unmet need. Decitabine/cedazuridine (DEC-C, ASTX727) is Canada's first and only approved oral hypomethylating agent for MDS and CMML. We characterized the real-world use of DEC-C through a Canadian compassionate use program.

Light-touch social psychological interventions have gained considerable attention for their potential to improve academic outcomes for underrepresented and/or disadvantaged students in postsecondary education. While findings from previous interventions have demonstrated positive effects for racial and ethnic minority and first-generation students in small samples, few interventions have been implemented at a larger scale with more heterogeneous student populations. To address this research gap, 7,686 students, representing more than 90% of incoming first-year students at a large Midwestern public university, were randomly assigned to an online growth mindset intervention, social belonging intervention, or a comparison group.
