In this study we report 5-year outcomes for patients who received intermittent haemodiafiltration for Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) between 2010 and 2014 in a small Scottish Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Dialysis independence and mortality at ICU discharge, 30 and 90 days, one and five years were determined. There were 1496 admissions to ICU during the study period.

The combinatorial formulae used imply the existence of various congruences among the corresponding arithmetic functions.

The result at 293 K confirms the room temperature Cmc2(1) structure, but at the lower temperatures the space group is Pna2(1). Nevertheless the basic structure remains the same, with only small displacements of the atoms, amounting to an average of 25 pm between 120 and 293 K.

There is a considerable body of research about the use of local anaesthetic as an adjunct. Some of this research appears to be contradictory about the use of local anaesthetic in addition to general anaesthesia in very young children.

A three-dimensional geometric lattice L can be considered as an infinite Abelian group under addition. A sublattice S of L, which is also three-dimensional, is a subgroup of L such that the finite quotient group, G approximately equals L/S, is an Abelian group of order the index of S in L.
