Postoperative Outcomes and Analgesic Requirements of Single-Port Multiport Robotic-Assisted Radical Cystectomy.

To compare outcomes in patients undergoing robotic-assisted radical cystectomy (RARC) with urinary diversion for bladder cancer with either the single-port (SP) or multiport (MP) robotic platform. All patients who underwent SP and MP RARC at our institution between January 2018 and January 2023 were retrospectively reviewed. Postoperative analgesia was administered by a departmentwide narcotic stewardship protocol, and inpatient and outpatient narcotic use was tracked.

Retrospective Multicenter Observational Study of Immediate Voiding at End of Urinary Sphincter Surgery (REMOVE).

Purpose: Patients may remain catheterized after artificial urinary sphincter surgery to prevent urinary retention, despite a lack of evidence to support this practice. Our study aims to evaluate the feasibility of outpatient, catheter-free continence surgery using a multi-institutional database. We hypothesize that between catheterized controls and patients without a catheter, there would be no difference in the rate of urinary retention or postoperative complications.
