Elastofibroma in the Rearfoot: A Case Report of a Rare Soft Tissue Tumor.

An elastofibroma is a rare, benign, slow-growing, progressive soft tissue neoplasm with distinct histopathological features consisting of collagen and coarse elastic fibers. When it occurs, it has a propensity for the subscapular region in elderly female patients. It can occur less commonly at other anatomical sites, and its exact etiology is unclear.
