Soil analyses are essential to ensure economically and environmentally sustainable crop production while maintaining the soil fertile for future use. Unfortunately, common soil analyses may be highly demanding in terms of time, chemicals, and costs. This applies, in particular, when total quantities of elements are desired.

Here we characterized the pharmacological implications of five heterozygous CASR variants from individuals with familial hypocalciuric hypercalcemia 1 [FHH1: Y63C, I81T, Q459R, W818stop] or autosomal dominant hypocalcemia 1 [ADH1: R955stop].
Methods: Total and cell surface expression levels of wild-type (WT) and variant CaSRs expressed in human embryonic kidney 293T (HEK293T) cells were determined using ELISA, and the pharmacological properties of the receptors were delineated in two functional assays.
Organometallics can be used as precursors for electrophilic At-statinations. In this report, we compared the potential of aryl trimethylsilanes, -germanes, or -stannanes to be used as precursors to At-label highly reactive tetrazines. Tetrazines can be used for pretargeted radioligand therapies or be applied as synthons to radiolabel rapidly and orthogonally a broad set of precursors such as peptides, mAbs or nanomedicines.

This is in part because no named entity recognition (NER) system exists, which can comprehensively detect all types of LSFs in text. The task is challenging due to their inherent diversity, lack of a comprehensive LSF classification for dictionary-based NER, and lack of a corpus for deep learning-based NER.

Methods: Studies identified by a systematic review assessed the general validity of screening tools in adult oncology outpatients from five databases through 2022.
Motivation: Despite significant progress in biomedical information extraction, there is a lack of resources for Named Entity Recognition (NER) and Named Entity Normalization (NEN) of protein-containing complexes. Current resources inadequately address the recognition of protein-containing complex names across different organisms, underscoring the crucial need for a dedicated corpus.
Results: We introduce the Complex Named Entity Corpus (CoNECo), an annotated corpus for NER and NEN of complexes.
This study investigates the possibility of using machine learning models created in DeepLabCut and Create ML to automate aspects of behavioral coding and aid in behavioral analysis. Two models with different capabilities and complexities were constructed and compared to a manually observed control period. The accuracy of the models was assessed by comparison with manually scoring, before being applied to seven nights of footage of the nocturnal behavior of two African elephants ().

They are characterized by a similar temperature dependency of seed germination, and 10 °C and 29 °C were found to be suboptimal low and high temperatures for all nine ecotypes, even though they originated from regions with diverse climates. We tested the potential of four PGPR strains from the genera and to stimulate seed germination in the two ecotypes under these suboptimal conditions.

The chemokine receptors CCR1 and CCR5 display overlapping expression patterns and ligand dependency. Here we find that ligand activation of CCR5, not CCR1, is dependent on N-terminal receptor O-glycosylation. Release from O-glycosylation dependency is obtained by increasing CCR5 N-terminus acidity to the level of CCR1.

Here, we report that PARG inhibition leads to excessive PARylated poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase 1 (PARP1) reducing the ability of PARP1 to properly localize to sites of DNA damage. Strikingly, the mis-localized PARP1 accumulates as aggregates throughout the nucleus.

ACS disproportionally accounts for a majority of morbidity and mortality among surgical patients. Minimally invasive techniques are associated with improved outcomes and shorter hospital length of stay within the ACS population.

Research has supported a positive association between coercive sexting and IPV perpetration (Drouin et al., 2015), though no prior research has examined how relationship length moderates this association.

Design: A qualitative descriptive study was undertaken.
Methods: A qualitative approach was chosen; through a purposeful sample strategy, 13 semi-structed interviews with 12 patients who had aphasia following stroke, and one patient had dysarthria.
While running is amongst the most popular activities for competition and leisure, an estimated 20-40% of runners may suffer from respiratory limitations. Some of these runners may benefit from breathing techniques to improve performance or alleviate respiratory discomfort. One such technique is locomotor-respiratory coupling (LRC), a frequency and phase synchronization of breath to step.
