(1) : Recent digital workflows are being developed for full-arch rehabilitations supported by implants with immediate function. The purpose of this case series is to describe a new digital workflow for the All-on-4 concept. (2) : The patients were rehabilitated using the All-on-4 concept with a digital workflow including computerized tomography scanning, intra-oral scanning, and CAD-CAM production of the temporary prosthesis, with the 3D printing of stackable guides (base guide, implant guide, and prosthetic guide).

Methods: An electronic search was conducted in six electronic databases and gray literature. Qualitative and quantitative analyses were performed on studies that met the inclusion criteria.
This study evaluated the failure load and the shear bond strength of 4 block materials indicated for computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) of dental veneers: lithium disilicate, feldspathic ceramic, polymer-infiltrated ceramic, and nanohybrid composite. The tested hypothesis was that the material that combined an elastic modulus similar to that of enamel with the highest bond strength values would present the highest failure load. From prefabricated CAD/CAM blocks, disc-shaped specimens (6.

Once these pathogens cross insect physical barriers, the innate immune system operates through cellular and humoral responses. Antimicrobial peptides are small molecules produced by immune signaling cascades that develop an important and generalist role in insect defenses against a variety of microorganisms.

Purpose: The purpose of this in vitro study was to evaluate the hardness, fracture toughness, load-to-failure, cyclic fatigue, and stress distribution of 4 computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD-CAM) materials when bonded to a substrate similar to dentin (G10).
Material And Methods: Disks (11×1.
Endometriosis is characterized by the presence of endometrial glands and stroma outside the uterine cavity. The occurrence of endometriosis in the anterior abdominal wall is often associated with previous cesarean section, once the spread of endometrial cells during the surgical procedure is a biologically fact possible. A 43-year-old patient, with cesarean section history and pelvic endometriosis diagnosed for over 10 years, presented with progressive abdominal pain.

Surface enhancement Raman scattering (SERS) of two tautomer of thiobarbituric acid was obtained using silver and gold nanoparticles. Large band enhancement in the region of the ν(C=S), ν(C=C), δ(CH2), and δ(CNH) vibrational modes was found. Natural bond analysis of the tautomer species revealed expressive values of charge transfer, principally from lone pair electron orbitals of the S, N, and O atoms.
