Objective: To systematically review the literature analyzing the reliability and characteristics of the protocols of isokinetic and isometric evaluation of the trunk flexor and extensor muscles with isokinetic dynamometer.

Methods: This is a systematic review using PubMed, CENTRAL, LILACS, PEDro and SCOPUS databases, searching the oldest records up to December 2019. The risk of bias, the methodological quality and the level of evidence were evaluated using the COSMIN checklist.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the behavior of foot pronation at different percentages of peak velocity in 23 physically active men. An ergospirometric test was carried out with an initial velocity of 9kmh and increments of 1kmh until exhaustion. 2D kinematic analysis was performed in the posterior frontal plane at all velocities to identify the maximal angle of pronation (MAP) of the right leg.

Functional resistance training can increase strength, knee torque ratio, and functional performance in elderly women. The aim of the present study was to understand the effects of closed kinetic chain exercises with constant load on muscular strength, the knee torque conventional ratio (hamstring:quadriceps - H:Q), and functional capacity in the elderly. Nine untrained healthy elderly women participated in experimental resistance training.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate electromyography and kinematic parameters of the lower limbs using rebound boots (RB) and barefoot during a gym workout. This information can be helpful to practitioners to schedule rehabilitation and training programs. Ten women (25 ± 9 years) volunteered for the study; inclusion criteria were as follows: subjects must have experienced the use of RB and the analyzed exercises for at least 6 months, and have no previous injuries in the lower limbs.
