Nurses' recommendations to the psychoaffective dimensions of patients hospitalized in nephrology.

Objectives: to analyze nurses' recommendations on the psycho-affective dimensions of patients hospitalized in nephrology.

Methods: a qualitative, exploratory and descriptive study, carried out by applying a sociodemographic and training questionnaire, reading a clinical case and conducting a semi-structured interview. Fourteen nurses from a reference hospital in nephrology in the Southeast participated.

Resignation, violence and filing complaint: social representations of the male aggressor from the perspective of the female victim of aggression.

The scope of this study is to analyze the social representations of the male aggressor from the perspective of the female victim of aggression. It is a qualitative and representational study conducted, using free narrative as the data-gathering tool, with twenty women who were under the protection of the Reference Center in Natal in the State of Rio Grande do Norte. ALCESTE 2010 software was used to analyze the textual data.

Psychosocial care network: adequacy of roles and functions performed by professionals.

Objective: To verify the adequacy of the roles and functions performed by higher education professionals in the services of psychosocial care network in a Northeastern Brazilian capital.

Method: Cross-sectional, analytical study of quantitative approach. The sample was composed of 65 professionals from seven services of psychosocial care network in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil.

[Nurses' social representations of work-related stress in an emergency room].

The aim of this study was to understand the social representations of nurses in the emergency room and their relationship to stress. This descriptive, exploratory study was performed using a qualitative approach, with Social Representations Theory being the prime focus. Research was conducted at a benchmark public hospital for emergency services in the municipality of Natal/RN.

[Adolescence and sexuality: sexual scripts from the social representations].

This study aimed to identify the social representations of adolescents about sexuality, from their personal experiences. The research, of a qualitative and representational nature, was carried out with thirteen teenagers in a unit of education for young and adults. It has, as instrument for data collection, a semi-structured interview and focus group meetings.
