The second most common cause of stroke, accounting for 10% of hospital admissions, is intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH), and risk factors include diabetes, smoking, and hypertension. People with intracerebral bleeding experience symptoms that are related to the functions that are managed by the affected part of the brain. Having obtained 15 computed tomography (CT) scans from five patients with ICH, we decided to use three-dimensional (3D) modeling technology to estimate the bleeding volume.
