Exercise interventions have been recommended for people with non-specific low back pain. The literature is scarce regarding the effects of exercise on muscle strength, endurance, and electrical activity of lumbar extensor muscles. Electronic searches were carried out from May 2020 until August 2020 in the following databases: PUBMED, CENTRAL, EMBASE, PEDro, SPORTDiscus, Scielo, and LILACS.

Exercise interventions improve depression and anxiety in chronic kidney disease patients: a systematic review and meta-analysis.

Purpose: This systematic review examined the effects of exercise interventions on depression and anxiety in chronic kidney disease patients.

Methods: Electronic searches were conducted between August 2019 and February 2020 at PubMed, MEDLINE, Web of Science, EBSCO, Scopus, LILACS, EMBASE, Physiotherapy Evidence Database, and Cochrane Library databases. Original clinical trial studies that examined the effects of exercise on depression and anxiety in chronic kidney disease patients, stages 3-5, were included.

[Prevalence of excessive screen time and associated factors in adolescents].

Objective:: To determine the prevalence of excessive screen time and to analyze associated factors among adolescents.

Methods:: This was a cross-sectional school-based epidemiological study with 2874 high school adolescents with age 14-19 years (57.8% female) from public and private schools in the city of João Pessoa, PB, Northeast Brazil.
