The therapeutic relationship plays a crucial role in nursing care for people with mental illness. Adopting a systemic and person-centred approach that considers the individual experiences and needs of the person is paramount. However, no instruments were found in the literature designed to evaluate the nurse-patient therapeutic relationship from the perspective of a person with mental illness.

Background: Only a few anxiety assessment tools that nurses may administer are validated forthe Portuguese population exist in the literature. Thus, this study aimed to translate and culturally adapt the Hamilton Anxiety Scale for the Portuguese population and assess its psychometric properties in a sample of adult people with mental health disorders.

Methods: This psychometric study uses a convenience sample of adult patients with mental health disorders.

Purpose: Cultural adaptation and psychometric properties assessment of the Nursing Outcomes Classification (NOC) outcome "Cognition" in a sample of Portuguese adults with mental illness.

Methods: Methodological study.

Findings: The final European Portuguese version of the NOC outcome "Cognition", consisting of 13 items, showed good psychometric properties.

The effectiveness of positive mental health programs in adults: A systematic review.

A systematic review was conducted. So, electronic database including CINAHL, Embase, MEDLINE, Pubmed, Scopus and Cochrane-Central were explored in January 2017 and in October 2017. The aim of this systematic review is to identify, appraise and synthesize the best evidence for the effectiveness of programmes of positive mental health in adults.
