Research covered testing of 30 samples of the following milk products: cream, sweet cream, fat cottage cheese, semi-fat cottage cheese, low-fat cottage cheese, homogenized cheese and butter. The presence of thermophilic ray fungi was confirmed in all examinated samples of tested products. In particular milk derivates the following levels of contaminations were found: cottage cheese--27.

The purpose of the study was the attempt of the isolation of the thermophilic fungi from raw coffee beans. The material constituted of 24 coffee beans samples came from 12 countries. The isolation and the identification of the thermophilic fungi was conducted according to Biłaj [2], Biłaj and Zacharczenko [3].

The microbiological condition of instant soup powders purchased in retail network has been assessed. The study included 37 instant soups (8 types) manufactured by four Polish companies. The microbiological quality of a majority of soup powders fulfilled the requirements of the standard.
