In order to investigate the influence of the coexistence of clay and silt on the compression characteristics of sand, one-dimensional compression consolidation tests were carried out on reconstituted saturated sand-silt-clay mixtures with a constant initial void ratio, and the effects of fines content () and clay-silt ratio () on the compression characteristics of mixed soils were studied. The mechanism of the experimental results was additionally explained from a microscopic perspective. The test results show that: the compressibility of mixed soil increased with the increase in ; the compressibility change rule of mixed soils with different is consistent under the same ; the influence of on the -lg (the void ratio () versus logarithm of the pressure ()) curve of mixed soil is inconsistent when is different: when = 3%, the compressibility of mixed soil decreased with the increase in ; when = 7% and 10%, the compressibility of mixed soil gradually increased with the increase in ; when = 5%, the compressibility of mixed soil did not show an obvious changing law with the increase in , and the compressibility of the specimen with = 5%- = 1 ( = 5%, = 1) was the largest; when was same, the difference between -lg curves of mixed soil with different increased with the increase in .

In this study, 3D PAN nanofibers and polymer electrolytes incorporating various inorganic fillers with different Lewis acid-base properties were fabricated. PAN@Al-SSE exhibits exceptional ionic conductivity (0.

However, it remains to be investigated whether all monomer molecules can achieve polymerization-induced phase separation and the corresponding differences in lithium metal battery performance. Herein, we prepared PCEEs with different functional groups (OH, CN, F) through in situ polymerization.

They usually interact with each other in many ways through multidimensional, multiscale, and multilevel coupling manners, leading to challenges in the coexistence of randomness and determinism or continuity and discreteness. Gaining a deeper understanding of these diverse interaction mechanisms can facilitate the development of data-mining theories and methods for complex systems, coupled modeling for systems with different spatiotemporal scales and functional properties, or even a universal theory of information and information interactions.

Some functional fillers suffer from severe agglomeration due to poor compatibility with the polymer base or grain boundary migration, resulting in limited improvement in cell performance. In this paper, ILs@KAP1 is reported as a filler to enhance the performance of PEO-based batteries.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFThe practical application of Lithium-sulfur (Li-S) batteries is significantly inhibited by (i) the notable 'shuttle effect' of lithium polysulfides (LiPS), (ii) the corrosion of the lithium interface, and (iii) the sluggish redox reaction kinetics. The functional separator in the Li-S battery has the potential to provide the perfect solution to these problems. Herein a triple-layer multifunctional PVDF-based nanofiber separator, which contains GoTiN/PVDF layer on the top and bottom and ZnTPP/PVDF layer on the middle, is designed.
