Imidodiacetic acid (IDA) type adsorbent (named PSGI) based on polystyrene spheres (PS) was synthesized by simultaneous irradiation grafting. By adsorption method, the removal of Zn(II) from water by the chelating adsorbent was studied in batch experiments.
