Three new molecular cobaloxime complexes with the general formula [ClCo(dpgH)L] (1-3), where L1 = -(4-pyridylmethyl)-1,8-naphthalimide, L2 = 4-bromo--(4-pyridylmethyl)-1,8-naphthalimide, L3 = 4-piperidin--(4-pyridylmethyl)-1,8-naphthalimide, have been synthesized and characterized by UV-Vis, multinuclear NMR, FT-IR and PXRD spectroscopic techniques. The crystal structures of all complexes have also been reported. The electrocatalytic activity of complexes is investigated under two catalysis conditions: (i) homogeneous conditions in acetonitrile using acetic acid (AcOH) as a proton source and (ii) heterogeneous conditions upon immobilization onto the surface of activated carbon cloth (CC).

Patients with this condition usually present with complaints of headache, encephalopathy, seizures, or visual disturbances. Nystagmus and periodic alternating gaze are rarely reported presentations of PRES patients.

The awareness of myeloproliferative disorders as a possible underlying disease-especially in young patients presenting with myocardial infarction and portal venous thrombosis-is crucial for clinical management, as a missed diagnosis can worsen the patients' further prognosis.

Nanotechnology has significantly impacted various industries, particularly in lubrication. Nanobiolubricants offer promising avenues for enhancing tribological properties.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFTelematics technology and its implementation in auto insurance have received great interest due to their potential to transform the insurance sector and promote safer driving practices. By implementing telematics technology, insurers may tailor insurance premiums to individual drivers, taking into account their real driving habits and performance, ultimately leading to improved road safety, cost savings, and an empowered driving community. The current study, through bibliometric analysis, carefully identifies and evaluates the existing body of scholarly literature on this subject for the last 21 years, including journal articles, conference papers, and related publications.

Unlabelled: Cavernous hemangioma of orbit is a benign, noninfiltrative, slowly progressive vascular neoplasm. It is usually asymptomatic but patients may present with proptosis and diminished vision due to compression of second cranial nerve, optic nerve. This can be usually diagnosed with the help of clinical examination and computed tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

The solid-state structure of complex 1 has also been determined by single crystal X-ray crystallography. Single crystal X-ray analysis revealed a monomeric centrosymmetric structure for complex 1 in which two dithiocarbamate ligands are bonded to the Ni(II) metal ion in a S^S chelating mode resulting in a square planar geometry around the nickel center.

In this review article, we attempted to incorporate all the essential details of SLNs like various methods of preparation, different models of SLNs, updated characterization methods, in vivo behavior (uptake), their applications, route of administration as well as advancements taken place in the field of delivery of biological drugs like gene vector, new adjuvant for vaccines, protein, and peptide with SLNs. Surface modified SLNs hold excellent potential for targeted and controlled drug delivery which is discussed and summarized.

Currently, medulloblastoma divided into four significant subsections (Wnt, Shh, Group 3, and Group 4) is based on their hereditary modulation and histopathological advancement. In this chapter, we tried to combine several novel chemical therapeutic agents active toward medulloblastoma therapy.

Materials of micro/nano-scale provide outstanding results in miniature point-of-use devices because of their high surface-to-volume ratio. In this study, we report the successful synthesis of hollow polymethyl methacrylate microspheres (HPM) coated with functionalized carbon nanotubes (f-CNTs) (CHPM) by employing solvent evaporation and in situ coating techniques.

The Gomati River (a tributary of the Ganga River) sediments were analyzed for REE concentrations to establish REE contamination and to identify biotite mica mineral as a geoindicator. Chondrite-normalized REE pattern of the river sediments and biotite mica mineral were similar and depict a strong light REE (LREE) enrichment and relatively flatter heavy REE (HREE).

The fluorescence quenching experiments performed at three different temperatures (288, 298 and 308 K) revealed the static mode of quenching and the binding constants ( ∼ 10) obtained indicated the strong affinity of these analogs for HSA. Furthermore, significant changes in the secondary structure of HSA in the presence of these analogs were also confirmed by far UV-CD spectroscopy.
