A type of modified nucleotide, deoxynucleotide γ-amidotriphosphates (dNTPγNHs), exhibited around five times higher stability than dNTPs. These phosphamide nucleotides can be utilized by several DNA polymerases, and the amplification of a 10 kb DNA fragment through the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) can be accomplished even under conditions of high temperature, extended storage, or repeated freeze-thaw cycles. However, the control PCR with standard dNTPs was unsuccessful.

Fifty rats were randomly divided into five groups (n=10 in each group). The rats in the aging model group were subcutaneously injected with 100 mg/kg D-gal and those in the protective groups were additionally orally administered NDC 75017 at doses of 1×10, 1×10 or 1×10 CFU/100 mg body weight/day, respectively.
