We present a highly efficient and versatile nickel-catalyzed protocol for the reductive cross-coupling of unactivated CFH-substituted electrophiles with a wide variety of aryl and alkenyl halides. This novel approach offers high catalytic reactivity and broad functional group compatibility, enabling late-stage fluoroalkylation of drug molecules.

Herein, we present a highly efficient copper-catalyzed protocol for transforming propargyl -dichlorides into the corresponding chloro-substituted fluoroalkylated allenes. This protocol demonstrates a broad substrate scope and excellent tolerance towards various functional groups. Moreover, the strategy of utilizing the chloro-substituted pentafluoroethylation allenes for multiple transformations has shown significant value in synthetic chemistry.
