Background: Early natural menopause, characterized by the cessation of ovarian function before the age of 45, has been a subject of prior research indicating that inflammation may predict the onset of menopause. However, the specific relationship between peripheral blood inflammatory parameters and early natural menopause remains ambiguous.
Methods: This observational study utilized data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) spanning the years 2013-2018.
Background: Various trials have demonstrated the clinical benefits of lenvatinib plus pembrolizumab in patients with advanced or recurrent endometrial cancer, regardless of mismatch repair (MMR) status or histologic subtype. The majority of the previously published trials had small sample sizes. Here, we aimed to assess the reported efficacy and safety profile of lenvatinib plus pembrolizumab in patients with advanced and recurrent endometrial cancer.

Methods: In total, 520 OCM images were obtained by scanning the cervical canal lesions with an ultra-high-resolution OCM system (204 specimens from 73 patients). The OCM morphologic characteristics of ECLs were observed and summarized, and then 3 researchers performed a diagnostic test of OCM images of cervical canal lesions.
Angiopoietin-like protein (ANGPTL) 4 is a key factor in the regulation of lipid and glucose metabolism in metabolic diseases. ANGPTL4 is highly expressed in various cancers, but the regulation of energy metabolism in tumours remains to be determined. This study explored the role of ANGPTL4 in aerobic glycolysis, glutamine consumption and fatty acid oxidation in nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells.

It provides a theoretical basis for further study of the etiology and prevention of hydrocephalus. Female cynomolgus monkeys about one-year-old were selected.

Stroke includes ischemic stroke and hemorrhagic strokes, of which the incidence of ischemic stroke accounts for 60-70% of the total number of strokes. Existing preclinical evidence suggests that inhibitors of histone deacetylases (HDACs) are a promising therapeutic intervention for stroke.

Methods: Two different NSCLC cells, A549 and NCI-H1299, were used to investigate the role of KLF2 in glycolysis and glutamine consumption by tracer technique and KLF2 transfection.
Background: Pollen tube elongation in the pistil is a key step for pollination success in plants, and auxins play an important role in this process. However, the function of auxins in pollen tube elongation in the pistil of rice under heat stress has seldom been previously reported.
Results: Two rice genotypes differing in heat tolerance were subjected to heat stress of 40 °C for 2 h after flowering.
