Hematopoiesis is a complex physiological process that ensures renewal of blood cells to maintain normal blood circulation and immune function. Wujin pigs exhibit distinct characteristics such as tender meat, high fat storage, strong resistance to roughage, robust disease resistance, and oxidation resistance. Therefore, using Wujin pigs as models may offer valuable insights for hematopoietic-related studies.

However, runoff formation is a complex process influenced by various natural and anthropogenic factors, resulting in nonlinearity, nonstationarity, and long prediction periods, which complicate forecasting efforts. Traditional statistical models, which primarily focus on individual runoff sequences, struggle to integrate multi-source data, limiting their predictive accuracy.

Collateral circulation could modify the association between aICH with functional outcome and we aimed to investigate the impact of systemic inflammation index on 3-month outcome under different collateral circulation.
Method: Consecutive patients undertaken EVT were enrolled and classified into non-intracranial hemorrhage (non-ICH), aICH and symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (sICH) groups according to the neurological status and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) changes within 72 hours after EVT.
Epigenetic-targeted therapy has been applied in the treatment of several types of cancer. Herein, based on the synergistic antitumor effects of co-targeting HDACs and EZH2 in some hematological malignancies, a novel series of tazemetostat-based HDACs/EZH2 dual inhibitors were rationally designed, synthesized, and biologically evaluated. Satisfyingly, compounds 22a and 22b were identified as potent HDACs/EZH2 dual inhibitors with robust antiproliferative activities against one diffuse large-cell B cell lymphomas (DLBCL) cell line harboring EZH2 mutation and multiple acute myeloid leukemia (AML) cell lines.

Fluorescence molecular tomography (FMT) holds promise for early tumor detection by mapping fluorescent agents in three dimensions non-invasively with low cost. However, since ill-posedness and ill-condition due to strong scattering effects in biotissues and limited measurable data, current FMT reconstruction is still up against unsatisfactory accuracy, including location prediction and morphological preservation. To strike the above challenges, we propose a novel Sparse-Laplace hybrid graph manifold (SLHGM) model.

We determined the contents of major perfluoroalkyl acids (PFAAs) in various commercial fish species from different regions of the Beibu Gulf. We detected 14 out of 17 PFAAs across all species, with PFOS (Perfluorooctanesulphonate) showing the highest detection rate, followed by PFHxS (Perfluorohexanesulfonic acid), PFPeA (Perfluorovaleric acid), and PFTrDA (Perfluorotetradecanoic acid).

This challenge includes both inter-class occlusion caused by environmental objects obscuring pedestrians, and intra-class occlusion resulting from interactions between pedestrians. In complex and variable urban settings, these compounded occlusion patterns critically limit the efficacy of both one-stage and two-stage pedestrian detectors, leading to suboptimal detection performance.

Peptide vaccines, known for their capacity to induce comprehensive immunity against multiple virus serotypes, offer promise due to their stability, safety, and design flexibility. Spherical nucleic acid (SNA), particularly those with gold nanoparticle cores, present an attractive avenue for enhancing peptide vaccine efficacy due to their modularity and immunomodulatory properties.

Polyphosphoesters (PPEs) represent an innovative class of biodegradable polymers, with the phosphate ester serving as the core repeating unit of their polymeric backbone. Recently, biomaterials derived from functionalized PPEs have garnered significant interest in biomedical applications because of their commendable biocompatibility, biodegradability, and the capacity for functional modification. This review commences with a brief overview of synthesis methodologies and the distinctive properties of PPEs, including thermoresponsiveness, degradability, stealth effect, and biocompatibility.

High-voltage LiNiMnO (LNMO) cathodes suffer from severe capacity degradation during long-term cycling due the manganese dissolution and their high operating voltage (∼4.95 V), which pose serious challenges at the surface or interface. Moreover, both traditional ion-doping and passivation layer coating are difficult to apply consistently to LNMO cathode because of their complicated procedures, especially in large-scale production.

Wujin pig has unique hypoxic adaptability and iron homeostasis; however, the specific regulatory mechanisms have rarely been reported. This study randomly divided 18 healthy Wujin piglets into three groups: the control group, supplemented with 100 mg/kg iron (as iron glycinate); the low-iron group, no iron supplementation; and the high-iron group, supplemented with 200 mg/kg iron (as iron glycinate).

Neural implicit function based on signed distance field (SDF) has achieved impressive progress in reconstructing 3D models with high fidelity. However, such approaches can only represent closed surfaces. Recent works based on unsigned distance function (UDF) are proposed to handle both watertight and single-layered open surfaces.

To address this gap, this study innovatively introduced a nested cross-validation method that integrates gray-white matter functional connectivity with an F-Score algorithm. This method calculates the correlation based on signals extracted from functional magnetic resonance imaging data using gray matter and white matter brain region templates.

Previous studies have indicated that tumor mutational burden (TMB) is associated with prognosis, but it is not always a precise index. Hence, investigating specific genetic mutations and tumor microenvironment (TME) changes in TMB-high patients is essential for precision therapy of HNSCC.

Branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs), including leucine, valine, and isoleucine, play crucial roles in regulating metabolic balance and maintaining physiological functions in the body. Extensive studies have been focused on their implications in obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. Nevertheless, accumulating evidence suggests that BCAAs metabolism also plays significant roles in tumorigenesis and progression.

Fluorescence molecular tomography (FMT) is a non-invasive, radiation-free, and highly sensitive optical molecular imaging technique for early tumor detection. However, inadequate measurement information along with significant scattering of near-infrared light within the tissue leads to high ill-posedness in the inverse problem of FMT. To improve the quality and efficiency of FMT reconstruction, we build a reconstruction model based on log-sum regularization and introduce an online maximum a posteriori estimation (OPE) algorithm to solve the non-convex optimization problem.
