Objective: The hypoxia/reoxygenation (H/R)-induced pyroptosis of cardiomyocytes plays a crucial role in the pathogenesis of myocardial infarction (MI). miR-155-5p represents a promising target for MI therapy. However, its involvement in H/R-induced pyroptosis remains unclear.

Methods: This observational, cross-sectional study of patients with axSpA used data from the Chinese Spondyloarthritis Registry between August 1, 2018, and March 31, 2020. The demographic and clinical features of patients with and without AAU were compared.
Objective As primary Sj?gren's syndrome (pSS) primarily affects the salivary glands, saliva can serve as an indicator of the glands' pathophysiology and the disease's status. This study aims to illustrate the salivary proteomic profiles of pSS patients and identify potential candidate biomarkers for diagnosis. Methods The discovery set contained 49 samples (24 from pSS and 25 from age- and gender-matched healthy controls [HCs]) and the validation set included 25 samples (12 from pSS and 13 from HCs).

This study aimed to examine the association between anemia, low body mass index (BMI), and clinical outcomes in axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA).
Method: This cross-sectional analysis utilized data from the multicenter ChinaSpA cohort.
Aim: To describe the clinical characteristics of Chinese patients with psoriatic arthritis (PsA) using the data recorded in the Chinese Registry of Psoriatic Arthritis (CREPAR).
Methods: This is a cross-sectional study based on the CREPAR registry, which is a prospective registry founded in December 2018. Data regarding clinical characteristics and treatment of patients were collected during every visit.
Background: The clinical features of enthesitis in patients with psoriatic arthritis (PsA) have been reported in some Western countries, but data in China are very limited. This study aimed to describe the characteristics of enthesitis in Chinese patients with PsA and compared them with those in other cohorts.
Methods: Patients with PsA enrolled in the Chinese Registry of Psoriatic Arthritis (CREPAR) (December 2018 to June 2021) were included.
The aim of this study was to explore the feasibility of Raman spectroscopy combined with computer algorithms in the diagnosis of primary Sjögren syndrome (pSS). In this study, Raman spectra of 60 serum samples were acquired from 30 patients with pSS and 30 healthy controls (HCs). The means and standard deviations of the raw spectra of patients with pSS and HCs were calculated.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the value of serum Raman spectroscopy combined with machine learning algorithms in the discriminatory diagnosis of patients with Primary Sjögren's syndrome associated with interstitial lung disease (pSS-ILD).

Methods: We conducted a retrospective case-control and cohort analysis. All patients with SLE-TM (58 patients) and 232 with SLE without TM, as a control group, were admitted to Peking Union Medical College Hospital between January 1993 and May 2021.
Objective: This study aimed to investigate whether low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) concentration was associated with the risk of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in Chinese adults. Methods: The study included the 97,411 participants in the Kailuan Study without RA, with complete baseline LDL-C data, and who did not use lipid-lowering medications at baseline or during follow-up. We used Cox proportional hazards modeling to calculate the hazard ratio (HR) and 95% confidence interval (95% CI) of RA according to baseline LDL-C tertiles, adjusting for age, sex, body mass index, HDL-C, triglycerides, diabetes, hypertension, alcohol consumption, and smoking.

Methods: Patients with clinical diagnosis of ankylosing spondylitis (AS) or axial SpA were enrolled into the registry. Patients with a complete set of pelvis radiograph, pelvis MRI and HLA-B27 (Complete Set group, CS group) were further categorised based on classification criteria into AS, radiographic axial SpA (r-axSpA) and non-radiographic axial SpA (nr-axSpA).
The aim of our study was to assess the influence of the HLA-B27 status on axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) in the largest cohort in China. An observational, cross-sectional, and analytic study of axSpA patients from the China axSpA database was performed. Demographic and clinical data were compared in terms of the HLA-B27 status.

However, multiple studies have questioned the diagnostic value of various disease-specific autoantibodies in different ethnic groups. Here, we have tried to assess the diagnostic value of anti-CD74 IgG and IgA autoantibodies in axSpA patients from Chinese Han population.

Methods: Twenty-seven disease-modifying antirheumatic drug-naive female patients met the revised American-European Consensus Group criteria for pSS were enrolled in this open-label pilot study. Patients were treated with iguratimod 25 mg twice a day for 24 weeks.
Objectives: Only limited risk factors for ankylosing spondylitis (AS) have been identified to date. Therefore, we aimed to explore whether cardiovascular health (CVH) behaviours and factors are associated with the risk of developing AS.
Methods: Patients with incident AS were identified in cohorts from two ongoing prospective studies.
Objective: Gut dysbiosis has been reported implicated in ankylosing spondylitis (AS), a common chronic inflammatory disease mainly affects sacroiliac joints and spine. Utilizing deep sequencing on the feces of untreated AS patients, our study aimed at providing an in-depth understanding of AS gut microbiota.
Methods: We analyzed the fecal metagenome of 85 untreated AS patients and 62 healthy controls by metagenomic shotgun sequencing, and 23 post-treatment feces of those AS patients were collected for comparison.
Background: A hospitalized-based cohort study suggested that elevated C-reactive protein (CRP) levels are associated with radiographic sacroiliitis progression in ankylosing spondylitis (AS) patients. However, data from community-based populations are limited.
Objective: We sought to determine the association between elevated CRP levels and AS diagnosis in a prospective community-based study of 129,681 Chinese adults over a follow-up period of 8 years.
