Objectives: The purpose of this review is to summarise the evidence from a systematic review and meta-analysis of observational studies that objectively measure daily steps and health outcomes.
Design: This is an umbrella review.
Data Sources: PubMed, Embase, Scopus, the Cochrane Library and Web of Science databases were searched through 31 January 2024.
Objective: To explore the impact of routine management compared to case management on social support and self-efficacy of patients with chronic diseases and assess the new nurse-led healthcare collaborative model.
Methods: This is a prospective study which was approved by the Biomedical Ethics Committee of Anhui Medical University. A total of 100 patients with chronic diseases who received treatment and care in Hefei First People's Hospital from January 2020 to December 2021 were selected as the study subjects and divided into a control group and an observation group according to the numerical table method, with 50 cases in each group.

In order to explore the characteristics and diagnostic value of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in axillary lymph node metastasis of breast cancer, a total of 200 breast cancer patients diagnosed and treated from January 2021 to January 2022 are selected as the study subjects, and 200 patients are divided into an axillary lymph node metastasis group and a simple breast cancer group according to pathological results. The pathological results are used as the gold standard to determine the accuracy and diagnostic efficacy of MRI results. A multivariate logistic regression method is used to analyze the influencing factors of MRI image characteristics of breast cancer axillary lymph node metastasis.

Objectives: As the spread of antimicrobial resistance genes becomes an increasing global threat, improved understanding of genetic structure and transferability of the resistant plasmids becomes more critical. The newly description of several plasmid-mediated tet(X) variant genes, tet(X3), tet(X4) and tet(X5), poses a considerable risk for public health. This study aimed to investigate the recombination event that occurred during the conjugation process of a tet(X4)-bearing plasmid.

Objective: To investigate the effect of component I from agkistrodon acutus venomon (AAVC-I) the migration of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs), and to elucidate the possible anti-angiogenic mechanism of AAVC-I.
Methods: The effect of AAVC-I on the migration of HUVECs which was cultivated in vitro and treated with AAVC-1 at four concentrations: 0, 20, 40, 80 microg/ml, was observed by methods of scratch wound-healing and Transwell assay. The expression level of mRNA and protein of P-selectin and intercellular cell adhension molecule-I (ICAM-1) were examined by RT-PCR and Western blot assay.
Background: N-acylhomoserine lactone (AHL)-based quorum sensing (QS) systems have been described in many plant-associated Gram-negative bacteria to control certain beneficial phenotypic traits, such as production of biocontrol factors and plant growth promotion. However, the role of AHL-mediated signalling in the endophytic strains of plant-associated Serratia is still poorly understood. An endophytic Serratia sp.

Sm proteins are members of a family of small proteins that are widespread in biosphere and found associated with RNA metabolism. To date, to our knowledge, only Arabidopsis SAD1 gene has been studied functionally in plant. In this study, 42 Sm genes are identified through comprehensive analysis in Arabidopsis.

We isolated a new strain of endophytic Pseudomonas G5 from the stems of Chinese parsley (Coriandrum sativum L.), and it is tentatively identified as Pseudomonas aurantiaca according to analysis of the entire substrate utilization profiles using BIOLOG Microstation system (BIOLOG, Inc, Hayward CA). An array of evidence established that many Gram-negative bacteria employ Quorum sensing (QS) system to regulate gene expression in response to cell density using small diffusible signal molecules, N-acyl homoserine lactones (AHLs), and control diverse phenotypic traits in plant-associated bacteria.

Further reaction of the intermediate results in expulsion of the leaving group to give an alpha-methylene lactam as the major product. In addition, a lactam product that retains the leaving group is formed via a 1,5-H shift in the intermediate.
