As a trending and interesting research topic, in recent years, researchers have been adopting the blockchain in the wireless ad-hoc environment. Owing to its strong characteristics, such as consensus, immutability, finality, and provenance, the blockchain is utilized not only as a secure data storage for critical data but also as a platform that facilitates the trustless exchange of data between independent parties. However, the main challenge of blockchain application in an ad-hoc network is which kind of nodes should be involved in the validation process and how to adopt the heavy computational complexity of block validation appropriately while maintaining the genuine characteristics of a blockchain.

The ability of the supplemented medium to isolate Campylobacter jejuni and C. coli from chicken carcass rinses was compared to that of Campy-Cefex agar and mCCDA.

Materials And Methods: The maxillary sinus CBCT scans of 250 patients scheduled for implant surgery were examined. The vertical and mediolateral positions of the vascular canals or notches were investigated on the CBCT images.
Objectives: To evaluate the tooth image measurements according to the tooth location and to calculate the magnification rate for comparison and analysis in digitalized panoramic and cone beam computed tomographic (CBCT) images.
Methods: A diagnostic template was fabricated and delivered on the preimplant sites. A 5-mm gutta-percha cone or a metal ball was inserted in the coronal part of each tooth.
Inflammatory pseudotumor (IPT) is a rare benign nonneoplastic lesion. The exact etiology of IPT remains unclear. Inflammatory pseudotumor in the maxillofacial region is exceptionally rare, and it is often mistaken for a malignancy.
