Background: To study the effect of the "Internet + Smart Bed" health management system (IPBS) established with ballistocardiography (BCG) technology on the quality of life of elderly patients with chronic diseases.

Methods: A total of 150 users with chronic diseases who had been staying in a nursing home during the period from January 2020 to March 2021 were enrolled and divided into 2 groups for experiments. The test and Bayesian methods were used to establish a generalized linear regression model to evaluate the effect of the IPBS on the quality of life of the subjects in the experiment.
