Current study was to evaluate whether the nurse-led program can improve glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) control and reduce the incidence of microalbuminuria in type 2 diabetic mellitus (DM2) populations. A total of 150 DM2 subjects were randomly assigned to the usual-care group and nurse-led program group. Study endpoints included the HbA1c value, the percentage of subjects with HbA1c < 7.

The on-line continuous sampling dynamic microwave-assisted extraction (on-line CSDMAE) coupled with high-performance liquid chromatographic separation and determination of the lignans in Wuweizi and naphthoquinones in Zicao was developed. The extraction, separation and determination of target analytes were simultaneously carried out. The experimental parameters, including type of extraction solvent, microwave extraction power, solvent flow rate, amount of sample and particle size of the sample, were evaluated by the univariate method and orthogonal screening.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFIonic liquid-based homogeneous liquid-liquid microextraction (IL-based HLLME) high-performance liquid chromatography was developed and applied to the extraction, separation and determination of some antibiotics in milk. The proteins and lipids were removed by adding salt and adjusting the pH value. The homogeneous extraction was applied to the improvement of recoveries for IL phase and analytes.

The experimental parameters of the MAILE, including type and amount of ionic liquid, microwave extraction power, extraction time and salt concentration in sample, were evaluated by a univariate method and orthogonal screening. When 60 microL of [C(6)MIM][PF(6)] was used as extraction solvent the target compounds can be isolated from the 4 mL of milk.

A room temperature ionic liquid, 1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate [C(6)MIM][PF(6.)], was used as extraction solvent and Triton X 114 was used as dispersant.

Variables influencing the DUE were evaluated by orthogonal test. The extraction yields of baicalin, baicalein and wogonin in the roots of S.

The influences of extraction solvent, extraction pressure and extraction time were individually investigated. HPMAE has been compared with other extraction methods, including Soxhlet extraction, ultrasound-assisted extraction and heat reflux extraction.

The ultrasonic nebulization extraction (UNE) was developed and applied to extract anthraquinones (emodin, aloe-emodin and rhein) from Rheum palmatum L. Several parameters of UNE, including type of extraction solvent, concentration of extraction solvent, volume of extraction solvent, extraction time and ultrasonic power, were studied and the optimized parameters were selected. The operation conditions of micellar electrokinetic capillary chromatography (MEKC) were also studied.

A method for determining triazine herbicides in infant nutrient cereal-based foods by pressurized microwave-assisted extraction (PMAE), coupled with high-performance liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (HPLC-ESI/MS), is described. The key parameters of PMAE, including extraction solvent, extraction time and temperature, were optimized. The isolation of the target compounds from the matrix was found to be efficient when 2 g of nutrient cereal samples was extracted with 20 mL of methanol for 10 min at 105 degrees C.
