This study aims to estimate the maternal age-related risk of Down syndrome in an Asian population. We performed a retrospective data analysis including a total of 206,295 pregnant women who presented for second-trimester maternal serum screening for Down syndrome at Hubei Maternal and Child Health Hospital for the years 2008-2017. Cases were assigned to three groups: ≤26 years of age, 27-33 years of age, and ≥34 years of age.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFLead (Pb)-free halide hybrid materials have received a great deal of attention because of their potential in optoelectronic applications. However, heteroatom-based amine lead-free tin halide hybrid single crystals have not been well investigated yet. Detailed synthetic processes, growth, crystal structures, and stability of (ACHCHNH)SnBr (A = OH or SH) and (BCHCHNH)SnI (B = I or SH) single crystals were investigated.

The prerequisite of circularly polarized luminescence is highly emissive chiral materials. Here, we demonstrated that (R/S-MBA)CuI·2HO (MBA = α-methylbenzylaminium) and acentric GuaCuI (Gua = guanidinium) single crystals were grown on the basis of GuaCuI by the slow evaporation method.

They have complex ecological adaptation mechanisms to adapt to perennial underground life. Intestinal microbes play an important role in the ecological adaptation of wild animals.
