The initial contraction of the heart during the embryonic stage necessitates a substantial energy supply, predominantly derived from mitochondrial function. However, during embryonic heart development, mitochondria influence beyond energy supplementation. Increasing evidence suggests that mitochondrial permeability transition pore opening and closing, mitochondrial fusion and fission, mitophagy, reactive oxygen species production, apoptosis regulation, Ca homeostasis, and cellular redox state also play critical roles in early cardiac development.

In this study, we found the proliferation rate was decreased after knockout of hnRNPA2/B1 by CRISPR-CAS9 in MCF-7 cells, as demonstrated by the reduced expression of CDK4 and p-AKT, and the increased expression of P27.

Nucleophosmin (NPM) is heavily implicated in cancers of diverse origins, being its gene over-expression in solid tumors or frequent mutations in hematological malignancies. However, the role and regulatory mechanism of NPM in oxidative stress are unclear.

However, the mechanism through which inflammation transforms hepatic cells in precancerous lesions remains unclear. Hepatic cells undergo significant changes in metabolism before carcinogenesis, but the specific alterations in gene expression and cellular functions in response to precancerous inflammation have not been elucidated.
