The cucumber gene CsACS2, encoding ACC (1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylic acid) synthase, plays a pivotal role in ethylene biosynthesis and sex determination. This study investigates the effects of constitutive CsACS2 expression in Arabidopsis thaliana on anther development and male fertility.

Still, there are no studies on applying BFO in Chinese cabbage. In this study, the effects of exogenous BFO sprayed with different concentrations (0, 5, 10, 20, 30 g·L) on the growth and soluble sugar content of Chinese cabbage seedlings were determined.

Herein by reversing the notorious side reactions include the loss and dissolution of electrode materials, as we applied Ostwald ripening (OR) in the electrochemical cycling of a copper hexacyanoferrate electrode in a hydronium-ion batteries, the dissolved Cu and Fe ions undergo a crystallization process that creates a stable interface layer of cross-linked cubes on the electrode surface. The layer exposed the low-index crystal planes (100) and (110) through OR-induced electrode particle growth, supplemented by vacancy-ordered (100) superlattices that facilitated ion migration.

BRASSINOSTEROID-INSENSITIVE 1 (BRI1) and BRI1 ASSOCIATED RECEPTOR KINASE 1 (BAK1), which are located on the plasma membrane, function as co-receptors that accept and transmit BR signals. PROHIBITIN 3 (PHB3) was identified in both BRI1 and BAK1 complexes by affinity purification and LC-MS/MS analysis.

Methods: To explore the regulatory mechanism of leaf size development of Chinese cabbage, we investigated the leaf size difference between two high-generation inbred lines of Chinese cabbage, Y2 (large leaf) and Y7 (small leaf). Furtherly, the transcriptome and cis-acting elements analyses were conducted.
Plant growth and development are correlated with many aspects, including phytohormones, which have specific functions. However, the mechanism underlying the process has not been well elucidated. Gibberellins (GAs) play fundamental roles in almost every aspect of plant growth and development, including cell elongation, leaf expansion, leaf senescence, seed germination, and leafy head formation.

This physiological disorder is associated with a localized calcium deficiency during leaf development. A SCI rat model was established through aorta occlusion, and in some cases, the rats were intervened with mild hypothermia, after which motor function, microglia activation, and M1/M2 polarization in rats were measured. Also, the expression of inflammatory cytokines (IL-1β, IL-6 and TNF-α) and neuronal apoptosis were examined.

Although mild hypothermia has been reported to improve ISCI and prolong the tolerance of rats to ISCI without inducing immediate paralysis, the mechanism remains unclear. Herein, the study revealed that the mild hypothermia treatment indeed partially improved the ISCI in rats caused by cross-clamping at the descending aorta.
