Efficacy and safety of recombinant human adenovirus p53 combined with chemoradiotherapy in the treatment of recurrent nasopharyngeal carcinoma.

This study aims to explore the efficacy and safety of recombinant human adenovirus p53 (rAd-p53) combined with chemoradiotherapy (CRT) in the treatment of recurrent nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). A total of 162 recurrent NPC patients were selected and divided randomly into the rAd-p53+CRT, CRT, and rAd-p53 groups. An electrochemical luminescence immune analyzer was used to detect serum levels of tumor markers (carcinoembryonic antigen, cancer antigen 199, and cancer antigen 153).
