By employing a palladium catalyst or KCO, a variety of ()-alkenylphosphorus compounds and terminal alkenylphosphorus compounds were successfully synthesized with high selectivity. Notably, trisubstituted ()-alkenylphosphorus compounds were synthesized for the first time under metal-free conditions.

The development of physiology textbooks in China is divided into four main stages: the introduction and initial development of physiology textbooks from the late 19th century to 1925; the localization and diversification of textbooks from 1926 to 1949, after the establishment of the Chinese Physiological Society; the exploratory phase of textbook construction after the founding of the People's Republic of China from 1949 to 1976; the formation and innovation of the textbook development process from 1977 to the present, following the restoration of the college entrance examination. For each phase, the article not only records the historical development of physiology textbooks, but also analyzes the evolution of their content, writing styles and the interaction with the social and political contexts.

In this simulation study, we used a 4-period crossover design to compare the learning curves of ultrasound-guided in-plane needle placement among 4 different puncture modes by novices.
Methods: Forty residents were randomly assigned to receive training in one of 4 puncture modes according to the placement of the puncture model and the orientation of the probe to the operator: horizontal phantom-parallel probe (HP), horizontal phantom-vertical probe (HV), vertical phantom-parallel probe (VP), and vertical phantom-vertical probe (VV).
Chilled meat is highly prone to microbial spoilage, and edible films with antimicrobial properties offer a feasible solution. In this study, oil-in-water (O/W) nanoemulsions loaded with lemon essential oil (LEO) were developed. Nanoemulsification improved the antioxidant and antimicrobial activities of LEO.

Objective: The association between high-dose ionizing radiation and the incidence of hypertension is well-established, whereas the impact of low-dose ionizing radiation (<20 mSv) on hypertension remains uncertain. The aim of this study is to assess the risk of hypertension among petroleum workers workers following long-term exposure to low-dose ionizing radiation (<20 mSv).
Methods: The study began in July 2013 and was followed up to December 2019.
Using NHANES data from 2003 to 2008, 2011 to 2012, and 2015 to 2020, we examined the relationship between urinary organophosphate pesticide (OPP) metabolites and the triglyceride glucose (TyG) index. The TyG index evaluates insulin resistance, a crucial factor in metabolic diseases. Linear regression analyzed urinary metabolites in relation to the TyG index and OPPs.

We sought to determine contributions of circulating monocytes to atherosclerosis associated with HTG in combined hyperlipidemia, created by transgenic expression of human apoCIII in Ldlr mice (LdlrApoCIIItg) fed western high-fat diet (WD). Tissue culture with THP1 and primary human monocytes was used to examine effects of triglyceride (TG)-rich lipoproteins (TGRL) on monocytes.

However, understanding the relationship between a precursor's carbon framework and the microstructure of carbonized products is still ambiguous and requires further investigation. Herein, a relative aliphaticity/aromaticity regulated strategy was proposed to tailor the carbon skeleton of the polyamide precursor, aiming to fine tune the CMS pore size between the kinetic diameter of CH (4.

The floating gate (FG) OECT employs a distinct signal acquisition and amplification structure, mitigating the effects of non-specific physical adsorption during the sensing process and preventing contamination of the electrolyte solution by side reaction products. The current work reports a feasible wearable enzyme sensor using a poly(benzimidazobenzophenanthroline) (BBL)-Nafion-enzyme-Nafion stacking structure as the sensing layer of the FG OECT.

This study used a single-blind, randomized controlled design.
Methods: A total of 66 patients with RNSLBP who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group of 33 patients.
To understand the niche and interspecific association of phytoplankton in different hydrological periods of the Xiaoche River in Guizhou Province, phytoplankton samples were collected in two different hydrological periods (dry period and wet period) from 2020 to 2022. The niche width (),niche overlap(),variance ratio method(VR),chisquare test(), AC test, and Jaccard index (JI) were used to analyze the niche and interspecific association of phytoplankton dominant species. The results showed that a total of 7 phyla and 50 species of phytoplankton were identified in the Xiaoche River, with 4 phyla and 12 species being the dominant species.

The high prevalence of type I allergic diseases such as allergic rhinitis, allergic asthma, food allergies, allergic conjunctivitis, and atopic dermatitis has emerged as a significant public health concern globally. Failure of immune tolerance to ordinarily harmless substances or stimulation, and subsequent induction of T helper 2 cells by antigen-presenting cells evokes the allergic immune response, which results in persistent inflammation, tissue damage, and organ function impairment. Current therapeutic approaches for allergic diseases include avoiding allergen exposure, corticosteroids, biologics, etc.

This study aimed to investigate the self-resilience of the gut microbiome at different ages and the effects of diet on its recovery capacity in adulthood.

Epidemiological studies indicate that the incidence of RA continues to rise, yet the pathogenesis of this disease remains not fully understood. A significant infiltration of macrophages is observed in the synovium of RA patients.

While most studies on depression adopt a cross-sectional perspective or a variable-centred approach, these methods often fail to illuminate the developmental trajectories of depression in individuals. We employed Latent Profile Transition Analysis (LPTA), a person-centred approach, to analyse longitudinal data from a large adolescent sample (N = 978; M = 16.

Planarians, as ideal model animals for studying regeneration, stem cell proliferation, and apoptosis, have the strong regenerative abilities. Considerable evidence suggests that ubiquitin plays an important role in maintaining homeostasis and regulating regeneration, but the function of Ubiquitin specific proteases 7 (Usp7) on regeneration in planarians remains elusive.

Although previous studies have shown that there is a potential relationship between occupational gasoline exposure and the increase of anemia prevalence, this relationship has not been fully explored. The current cohort study aimed to investigate the association between occupational exposure to gasoline and anemia, and the effect of gasoline concentration on hemoglobin (Hb) levels.

Methods: Clinical data were retrospectively collected from SST and sigmoid sinus wall dehiscence (SSWD) patients suggested by temporal bone high resolution computed tomography (HRCT), with and without tinnitus, at the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University from January 2015 to August 2022. Patients were divided into SSWD tinnitus ( = 61), and non-tinnitus ( = 60) groups based on HRCT features.
The most common treatment method for patients with acute ischemic stroke with large vessel occlusion is mechanical thrombectomy. However, complications such as cerebral edema and hemorrhage transformation after MT can affect patient prognoses, while decompression craniectomy considerably improves patient prognoses. The aim of this study was to identify clinical indicators, such as the neutrophil/high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio, to predict DC.

Nanoplastics are common environmental pollutants. As of now, research has yet to explore how exposure to nanomaterials during gestation might influence the risk of developing Alzheimer's disease (AD) in offspring. Throughout the research, we assessed the AD pathology in adult offspring of mice prenatal 80 nm polystyrene nanoparticles (PS-NPs) exposure.
