Effect of Operating Room Care Based on Wutong Mode on Anxiety and Depression of Patients Undergoing Abdominal Surgery: A Single-Center Retrospective Study.

The existence of anxiety and depression is not conducive to the rehabilitation of patients, so it is particularly important to apply reasonable and effective nursing methods in operating room to calm the negative emotions of patients. This study aimed to investigate the impact of operating room care utilizing the Wutong mode on the anxiety and depression levels of patients undergoing abdominal surgery.  Methods: The study included 167 patients who underwent abdominal surgery at our hospital from April 2021 to April 2023.

Objective: To explore the effect and molecular mechanism of Src homology region 2 domain-containing protein tyrosine phosphatase-2 (SHP-2) in tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) repressing the migration and invasion of colorectal cancer (CRC) cells.

Methods: The relevant data sets of human colon specimens were obtained from GEO database, and then the performed correlation analysis, principal component analysis and differentially expressed gene (DEGs) analysis on the samples were conducted. GO and KEGG enrichment analysis were performed on the common DEGs, and then functional interaction prediction was performed to verify the gene regulatory circuit of SHP-2.

miR-424-5p reduces 5-fluorouracil resistance possibly by inhibiting Src/focal adhesion kinase signalling-mediated epithelial-mesenchymal transition in colon cancer cells.

Objectives: miR-424-5p negatively regulates various malignant biological behaviours in tumour cells. We explored the relationship between miR-424-5p and 5-fluorouracil resistance in colon cancer cells.

Methods: We developed 5-fluorouracil-resistant HT-29 cells and detected miR-424-5p expression using real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR.

Identification of Metastatic Lymph Nodes in MR Imaging with Faster Region-Based Convolutional Neural Networks.

MRI is the gold standard for confirming a pelvic lymph node metastasis diagnosis. Traditionally, medical radiologists have analyzed MRI image features of regional lymph nodes to make diagnostic decisions based on their subjective experience; this diagnosis lacks objectivity and accuracy. This study trained a faster region-based convolutional neural network (Faster R-CNN) with 28,080 MRI images of lymph node metastasis, allowing the Faster R-CNN to read those images and to make diagnoses.

High tie versus low tie of the inferior mesenteric artery in colorectal cancer: A meta-analysis.

Background: Colorectal cancer surgery includes "high tie" and "low tie"of the inferior mesenteric artery(IMA). However, different ligation level is closely related to the blood supply of anastomosis, which may increase the leakage rate, and it is unclear which technique confers a lower anastomotic leakage rate(AL) and survival advantage.

Objective: To compare the effectiveness and impact of inferior mesenteric artery (IMA) high ligation versus IMA low ligation on anastomotic leakage, lymph nodes yield rates and 5-year survival.
