Atrial fibrillation (AF) is a common arrhythmia in clinical practice, and its incidence is increasing year by year, which seriously affects the survival and prognosis of patients. In recent years, circRNAs has played an important role in the diagnosis and treatment of AF. The purpose of this study was to search for differentially expressed circRNAs(DEcircRNAs) in the serum of AF patients by analyzing the expression profile of existing chips, combining bioinformatics technology and in vitro experiments, and to explore the regulatory mechanism of circRNAs in the occurrence and development of AF.

In today's increasingly prevalent society, ageing poses a huge challenge to global healthcare systems. AF not only affects patients' quality of life, but also causes thrombosis, heart failure and other complications in severe cases.

It was found that an increase in the dry density of foamed concrete could effectively reduce the porosity, leading to the improvement of compressive strength and impermeability and to the reduction of water absorption. The compressive strength, water absorption, and impermeability were mainly affected by the porosity when the w/c ratio changed.

Four 2-(2-hydroxyphenyl)benzothiazole-based Schiff base derivatives incorporating different substituents were synthesized. Their optical properties were characterized by UV-visible and fluorescence spectra. The electron-withdrawing and electron-donating actions of substituents can change the orbital energy level distributions of molecules resulting in the difference of their luminescence properties.

Phosgene is an important organic activity intermediate as well as a poisonous gas. However, the widespread use and abuse of phosphene brings potential risks to public safety. So it is very important to detect phosgene quickly and reliably.

In this paper, we describe the design and preparation of a colorimetric and ratiometric fluorescence probe for the visual detection of HSO (excitation wavelengths were, respectively, 336 nm and 520 nm). This method showed some advantages including simple preparation, high selectivity, fast response, and significant colour and fluorescence ratio (F /F ) changes in the presence of HSO .

ABSTACTWith the widespread use of NH, it brings potential risk to human health and environmental safety because of its diverse toxicological functions. In order to determine NH effectively in both environment and living systems, all kinds of fluorescence probes have been prepared for the specific response of NH based on various mechanisms and different acceptor group for NH. This paper provides a review to bring more inspirations for the development of the fluorescent probes for NH.

Soy isoflavone (SI), a soy-derived phytoestrogen, has similar chemical structure to endogenous estrogen-estradiol. We investigate to elucidate the protective mechanism of SI on myocardial ischemia/reperfusion (MI/R) injury.

Hydrogen sulfide (H2S) is a gasotransmitter which regulates multiple cardiovascular functions. However, the precise roles of H2S in modulating myocardial fibrosis in vivo and cardiac fibroblast proliferation in vitro remain unclear. We investigated the effect of GYY4137, a slow-releasing H2S donor, on myocardial fibrosis.

To further improve the general applicability of the inkjet printing technology in fabricating biochemical chips, in this work, we introduce a model to describe the multiple injection procedure implemented by the inkjet printing approach, with experimental verification. The multiple injection model demonstrates a new sequential inkjet printing method that generates picoliter-scale multicomponent droplet-in-oil arrays via multistep printing on uniform planar substrates.
