Background: We conducted an investigation into the correlation between HOXA and associated long-noncoding RNAs, along with their clinicopathologic and prognostic features in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
Methods: A comprehensive search across multiple electronic databases, including PubMed and the Web of Science, was conducted to identify relevant studies. The association between HOXA, clinicopathologic parameters, and prognosis was assessed using relative risk (RR) and hazard ratio (HR) with a 95% confidence interval (CI).

Objective: To investigate the expressions of HSF1 and tetra-hydroxynonene (4-HNE) in prostate cancer (PCa) tissue and their clinical significance.
Methods: Using the immunohistochemical method, we detected the expressions of HSF1 and 4-HNE in the prostatic tissues of 50 cases of PCa and another 50 cases of BPH, and analyzed the relationship of the two expressions with Gleason grade.
Results: The positive expression level of HSF1 was dramatically higher in the highly, moderately and lowly differentiated PCa than in the BPH tissue (37.
Objective: To investigate the expressions of glutathione S-transferase (GSTP1) and tetra-hydroxynonenal (4-HNE) in prostate cancer (PCa) and their clinical significance.
Methods: We determined the expressions of GSTP1 and 4-HNE in 40 patients with PCa and another 42 with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) by immunohistochemistry and analyzed their relationship with Gleason grades.
Results: The expression rate of GSTP1 was 92.

Objective: To observe the effects of Yanggan Lidan Granule (YGLDG), a compound traditional Chinese herbal medicine, on insulin resistance in guinea pigs with induced cholesterol gallstones.
Methods: Eighty guinea pigs were randomly divided into normal control group, untreated group, YGLDG group and ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) group, with 20 guinea pigs in each group. Except the normal control group, gallstones were induced by high-cholesterol diet in the guinea pigs.

Objective: To evaluate the therapeutic effect of Yinchenghao decoction (YCHD) and S-adenosy-L-methionine (SAM) in treating intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP) and improving prognosis of perinatal newborn babies.
Methods: Sixty in-patients of ICP were randomly divided into two groups, the group A treated with YCHD and the group B treated with SAM. The symptom of itching and serum biochemical indexes, including glycocholic acid, bilirubin and transaminase, were observed after 3 weeks treatment, and the prognosis of perinatal newborn babies between the two groups was compared after delivery.
