Voltage-gated ion channels (VGICs) are central to cellular excitation, orchestrating skeletal and cardiac muscle contractions and enabling neural signal transduction. Among these, voltage-gated potassium (Kv) channels are particularly significant in cardiac electrophysiology, especially during the repolarization phase of the cardiac action potential. In cardiac myocytes, Kv channels are integral to a multitude of sophisticated functions, including electrical conduction.

The renal tubules are typically the first to exhibit damage, frequently accompanied by changes in renal tubular transporters. With this in mind, we have identified an endogenous substrate of the renal tubular transporters that may serve as a biomarker for early detection of drug-induced AKI.

Purpose: To compare the application value of real-time sound touch elastography (STE), strain elastography, and color Doppler flow imaging in evaluating chronic kidney disease of transplanted kidneys.
Materials And Methods: A total of 101 patients with renal transplantation were divided into a normal group (serum creatinine <134 mol/L, 58 patients) and a chronic allograft nephropathy group after renal transplantation over 6 months (serum creatinine >134 mol/L, 43 patients).
Background: To analyze and explore the evolution and short-term efficacy of neoadjuvant therapy for patients with mid and low LARC in Wuhan Union Hospital Cancer Center.
Methods: Patients diagnosed with rectal cancer from January 2015 to December 2021 were collected. The treatment patterns, short-term efficacy and treatment-related adverse events (AEs) of mid and low LARC patients who received neoadjuvant therapy were analyzed.
There is strong evidence that apatinib is effective in the treatment of third- or later-line advanced metastatic gastric cancer (mGC). Hematology prediction index is a convenient and cheap method to predict the prognosis of disease. However, the prognosis of baseline hematological parameters of peripheral blood, such as neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), carbohydrate antigen 125 (CA125) and albumin (ALB) on mGC treated with apatinib have not been identified.

Purpose: To evaluate the risk of lymph node metastases of PTC associated with the score from ACR TI-RADS adjusted for other correlative factors.
Material And Methods: A total of 560 patients with pathologically confirmed PTC were included in the study and classified into a metastases group and a non-metastases group.
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the diagnostic value of multimodal ultrasonography, including SWE and CEUS, for the differentiation of benign and malignant cervical lymphadenopathy.
Methods: A total of 103 patients with 109 enlarged neck lymph nodes underwent SWE and CEUS. There were 25 hyperplastic lymph nodes, 66 metastatic lymph nodes, and 18 cases of lymphoma.
Background: The application of the ultrasound elastography and Thyroid Imaging Reporting and Data System (TI-RADS) classification further expands the scope of ultrasound differential diagnosis between benign and malignant thyroid nodules.
Purpose: To investigate the value of the quantitative parameter of ultrasonic shear waves in optimizing the TI-RADS classification of thyroid nodules.
Material And Methods: A total of 168 thyroid nodules, initially classified using TI-RADS and scanned by shear wave elastography (SWE), were retrospectively analyzed.
A 17-estradiol (E2) degrading strain (designated as Wu-SP1) was isolated from the activated sludge collected from a wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) in Xi'an. The strain was identified as sp. according to 18S rDNA sequence and phylogenetic analysis.

Objective: To prepare quercetin nanostuctured lipid carriers (QT-NLC), and detect their physicochemical properties.
Method: QT-NLC was prepared by emulsification ultrasonic dispersion method, and the optimum prescription was screened out by orthogonal design. Transmission electron microscope was used to observe QT-NLC morphology.
