Spirocyclohexadienone-Type Neolignans with Neuroprotective and Neurite Outgrowth Enhancing Activities from Magnolia liliiflora.

Three rare spirocyclohexadienone-type neolignans, magnoflorins A-C (1-3), and three known analogs (4-6), were isolated from the leaves of Magnolia liliiflora. Magnoflorin D (4) was obtained from natural resources for the first time. The chemical structures and absolute configurations of 1-4 were elucidated through detailed analysis of HR-ESI-MS, IR, H, C, and 2D NMR, and ECD experiments.

[Gene conjugation of molecular adjuvant C3d3 to hCGbeta enhanced the anti-hCGbeta humoral immune response via upregulation of CXCR4 expression on splenic B cells in DNA vaccination].

To investigate mechanism of the anti-hCGbeta humoral immune responsive enhancement by gene conjugation of the molecular adjuvant C3d3 to hCGbeta in DNA immunization, BALB/c mice were inoculated intramuscularly with pCMV4-hCGbeta-C3d3, pCMV4-hCGbeta and pCMV4, respectively. The titers of anti-hCGbeta IgG/IgA antibody in serum were determined by indirect ELISA. The IgG/IgA ASCs levels were evaluated by ELISPOT.

[Modulation of cyclosporin a on the expression of MMP-9 AND MMP-2 of the first-trimester human trophoblast cells].

The aim of this study was to explore whether cyclosporine A (CsA) can modulate expression of MMP-9 and MMP-2 and invasion of the first-trimester human trophoblast cells. The invasive ability of the trophoblast cells modulated by CsA was observed by Matrigel invasion assay. The effect of CsA on the transcription and translation of MMP-9 and MMP-2 was determined by Reverse Transcription-Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) and Gelatin Zymography.
