Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disease, and mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is considered a transitional stage between healthy aging and dementia. Early detection of MCI can help slow down the progression of AD. At present, there are few studies exploring the characteristics of abnormal dynamic brain activity in AD.

The identification of new powerful diagnostic biomarkers, prognostic biomarkers, and potential therapeutic targets in NSCLC is urgently required.
Methods: The UCSC Xena, UALCAN, and GEO databases were used to screen and analyze differentially expressed genes, regulatory modes, and genetic/epigenetic alterations in NSCLC.
Background: Tandem C2 domains, nuclear (TC2N) is a C2 domain-containing protein that belongs to the carboxyl-terminal type (C-type) tandem C2 protein family, and acts as an oncogenic driver in several cancers. Previously, we preliminarily reported that TC2N mediates the PI3K-Akt signaling pathway to inhibit tumor growth of breast cancer (BC) cells. Beyond that, its precise biological functions and detailed molecular mechanisms in BC development and progression are not fully understood.

This metal-free reaction involved the transannulation of benzo[]isoxazol-3-amines with the formation of two C-N bonds and a C-C bond in one pot. Notably, a pyrimidine ring with a 1,4-dicarbonyl scaffold could efficiently transform into a pyrimido[4,5-]pyridazine skeleton.

The results of computational toxicology analysis indicated male reproductive toxicity of BbF was related to apoptosis of Leydig cells and that Akt/p53 pathway might play a key role. In experiments, BbF induced testosterone decline, decreased concentration and motility of sperm and aggravated testicular pathological injury in mice.

Aim: To compare IEE with white-light imaging (WLI) endoscopy for the detection and identification of colorectal adenoma.
Introduction: Fracture is a disease with a high incidence worldwide. Foot and ankle fractures are common among fractures of the lower extremities. Foot and ankle fractures usually require surgical fixation and a period of fixed treatment, which can lead to decreased bone density.

Therefore, new environmental response predictive markers are urgently needed for early diagnosis and screening of lung cancer. Interferon-induced protein 44-like (IFI44L) has been shown to be related in a variety of tumors, but its function and mechanism during lung carcinogenesis still have remained largely unknown.

Previous research show that female tend to suffer more from mental health problems than males, with few studies focusing on males. This study sought to explore the association of lifestyle-related risk factors with the prevalence of mental health problems among male college students in China.

This metal-free process involves N-H/α-C(sp)-H trifunctionalization of THIQ and C-C bond cleavage of cyclopropenone, providing a direct approach to obtain pyrrolo[2,1-]isoquinoline derivatives with a quaternary carbon center. Two C-C bonds and one C-N bond are formed efficiently in one pot.

Apolipoprotein C1 (APOC1) is the smallest of apolipoproteins, implicated in many diseases. Recent studies have shown that APOC1 promotes tumorigenesis and development of several types of cancer.

CRC is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths. Although some progress in the treatment of CRC has been achieved, the molecular mechanism of CRC is still unclear.

Ten-eleven translocation 1 (TET1) is closely related to a variety of biological processes through regulating the dynamic balance of DNA demethylation and methylation. However, the role and mechanism of TET1 during BPA induced reproductive toxicity are largely unknown.

The only treatment available for GBM is the drug temozolomide, which unfortunately has frequent drug resistance issue. By analyzing the hub genes of GBM via weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA) of the cancer genome atlas (TCGA) dataset, and using the connectivity map (CMAP) platform for drug repurposing, we found that multiple azole compounds had potential anti-GBM activity.

Herein, we first report that SRY-box 30 (Sox30) is an age-related and essential regulator of meiosis in the postnatal testis. Sox30-null mice exhibited uniquely impaired testis, presenting the abnormal arrest of germ-cell differentiation and irregular Leydig cell proliferation.

Increasing evidence has suggested that TET1 probably involved in DNA methylation and demethylation dysregulation during chemical carcinogenesis. However, the role and mechanism of TET1 during lung cancer remains unclear.

Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is characterized by low expression of human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER2), estrogen receptor (ER), and progesterone receptor (PR), which is the most aggressive subtype with poor outcome among breast cancers. The underlying mechanisms of TNBC remain unclear and there is a lack of biomarkers. In this study we conducted an in silico assay and found that FOXC1 was highly expressed in ER/PR/HER2 breast cancers, which was confirmed by qRT-PCR, immunohistochemistry, and Western blot analysis.
