Outpatient screening with the Royal Free Hospital-Nutrition Prioritizing Tool for patients with cirrhosis at risk of malnutrition.

Objectives: Malnutrition is common among inpatients with cirrhosis. However, data on the prevalence of malnutrition among stable ambulatory patients with cirrhosis is lacking. We sought to investigate the prevalence of patents at risk of malnutrition (ARMN) among ambulatory patients with cirrhosis using the Royal Free Hospital-Nutrition Prioritizing Tool (RFH-NPT) and the Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool (MUST) and compare their correlation to clinical outcomes.
