Vomiting is common after neurosurgical procedures and may result in acute changes in intracranial pressure and cerebral blood flow. The authors instituted a standardized perioperative nausea and vomiting protocol for children with moyamoya undergoing indirect bypass surgery at their institution and analyzed its association with perioperative stroke.
