[Diagnosis and management of severe neonatal thrombocytopenia due to maternal alloimmunization against fetal platelet antigens: case study and literature review].

Thrombocytopenia is a common hematologic disorder in the neonatal period. It can occur in neonates hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit and in preterm infants. It is characterized by a platelet count of less than 150.

Primary Rhabdomyosarcoma of the Pleura: A Case Report and Review of the Literature.

Rhabdomyosarcoma is a malignant tumor of striated muscle tissue that can exceptionally present in the pleura. Its prognosis is generally poor. We report a case of an eight-year-old child admitted for a persistent dry cough which had progressed for three weeks, complicated by breathing difficulties and a deterioration in general condition.

[Educational and social outcome after childhood cancer].

The survival rate improvement of childhood cancer survivors lead to question about their educational and social outcome. Authors suggest an international review in order to find risk factors of school or social failure after cancer experience. Principal cohort is studied in USA (the Children Cancer Survivor Study).
