The development of effective and selective oxidation technology in complex water matrices is crucial for water ecological security. This study reports for the first time the synergistic use of "oxidant-oxidant" about sodium percarbonate (SPC) and periodate (PI) to selectively degrade organic micropollutants. The SPC/PI system showed degradation rates of 0.

Aiming at the coexistence of antibiotics and Cu(II) in livestock wastewater, a novelty strategy for the simultaneous removal of antibiotics and Cu ions by in-situ utilization of Cu(II) (i.e., CP/Cu(II) and CP/Cu(II)/ascorbic acid (AA) systems) was proposed.

Tetracycline (TC) and copper (Cu) as target pollutants were used to investigate the adsorption properties of xFe@HCNs in single or binary TC and Cu systems. The adsorption capacity sequence for TC among the adsorbents was (mmol·g): 2Fe@HCNs (0.

The structure and composition of catalysts were well characterized. The catalytic activity of catalysts for activating peroxymonosulfate (PMS) was conducted via acid orange 7 (AO7) degradation.

They experience natural attenuation and/or chemical degradation during oxidative water treatment. However, the environmental risks posed by the transformation products of such organic contaminants remain largely unknown from the literature.

This study aimed to evaluate the medical costs, length of stay (LOS), blood transfusion and in-hospital complications in patients undergoing simultaneous and staged TJA.
Methods: All patients who underwent primary bilateral TJA from 2013 to 2018 in our institute were included.
Background: Total Healthcare Expenditure (THE) has increased substantially in all countries. Since the health system reform and health policy environment differ from each country, it is necessary to analyze the motivations of THE in a specific country.
Methods: The objective of this study was to analyze the influential factors of Provincial THE (PTHE) per capita in China by using spatiotemporal panel data across 31 provinces (including provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities, all called provinces in here) from 2009 to 2016 at the provincial and annual level.
The reuse, deactivation and regeneration of carbon nanotubes (CNT) and N-doped carbon nanotubes (NCNT) were studied in catalytic peroxymonosulfate (PMS) activation for phenol degradation. The results showed that for catalytic PMS activation, marked deactivation was observed on both CNT and NCNT, resulting in marked variation of the surface functionalities of the catalysts. Catalytic PMS activation led to markedly increased oxygen-containing functionalities and decreased points of zero charge (PZCs) of CNT and NCNT.
