Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is one of the leading causes of cardiovascular death worldwide. AMI with cardiomyopathy is accompanied by a poor long-term prognosis. However, limited studies have focused on the mechanism of cardiomyopathy associated with AMI.

However, the function and detailed molecular mechanism of most lncRNAs in OSCC are not fully understood. Here, a novel nuclear-localized lncRNA, DUXAP9 (DUXAP9), that is highly expressed in OSCC is identified.

Although transient receptor vanilloid subtype 4 (TRPV4) ion channels are known to be permeable to Ca and are widely expressed in the kidneys, the role of TRPV4 on glomerular endothelial inflammation in sepsis remains elusive. In the present study, we found that TRPV4 expression in mouse glomerular endothelial cells (MGECs) increased after lipopolysaccharide (LPS) stimulation or cecal ligation and puncture challenge, which increased intracellular Ca in MGECs.

Owing to the high mortality rates of heart failure (HF), a more detailed description of the HF becomes extremely urgent. Since the pathogenesis of HF remain elusive, a thorough identification of the genetic factors will provide novel insights into the molecular basis of this cardiac dysfunction. In our research, we performed publicly available transcriptome profiling datasets, including non-failure (NF), dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) and ischemic cardiomyopathy (ICM) hearts tissues.

N6-methyladenosine (m6A) modification, as a pivotal regulator of messenger RNA stability, protein expression, and cellular processes, exhibits important roles in the development of cardiac remodeling and cardiomyocyte contractile function. The expression levels of m6A regulators were analyzed using the GSE5406 database.
