The reaction of [(3-bdppmapy)(AuCl)] with NaHmna (3-bdppmapy = N,N'-bis-(diphenylphosphanylmethyl-3-aminopytidine, Hmna = 2-mercaptonicotinic acid)) resulted in a tetranuclear Au-P-S complex [(3-bdppmapy)(AuHmna)(AuCl)] () which emitted bright yellow fluorescence at 542 nm under 377 nm excitation (QY = 5.3%, = 0.83 ns).

In this study, the growth-inhibitory effects of galaxamide in HeLa cells and xenograft mouse models were investigated. It was found galaxamide significantly inhibited cell growth, colony formation, migration, and invasion and induced cell apoptosis by inhibiting the Wnt signaling pathway in HeLa cells.

However, whether the grafting ovarian tissue meets functional requirements, as well as the need for additional interventions, remains unclear. The current study demonstrates abnormal serum hormones in breast cancer in humans and breast cancer cell line-derived tumor-bearing mice, and for the first time shows tumor-induced loss of primordial and growing follicles, and the number of follicles being lost to either growth or atresia.

Changes in the gut microbiota (GM) are correlated with the maintenance of bone mass and bone quality. However, research results in this field remain highly controversial, and no systematic review or meta-analysis of the relationship between GM and OP has been conducted.

Mouse models have shown that overexpression of SIRT1 associated with oncogene activation contributes to the pathogenesis of endometriosis, but the underlying reason remains elusive. Here, we used integrated systems biology analysis and found that enrichment of endometrial stromal fibroblasts in endometriosis and their cellular abundance correlated negatively with epithelial cells in clinical specimens.

A placenta knockout mouse model has shown a relationship between SIRT1, aging and placental dysfunction. The role of SIRT1 in cellular senescence has been extensively studied in various cell types, but its role in trophoblast senescence is almost unknown.

Stroke is the most common cerebrovascular disease, the second leading cause of death behind heart disease and is a major cause of long-term disability worldwide. Currently, systemic immunomodulatory therapy based on intravenous cells is attracting attention. The immune response to acute stroke is a major factor in cerebral ischaemia (CI) pathobiology and outcomes.

However, the mechanisms facilitating hepatocyte differentiation from hASCs are not well understood. Here, we show that upon exposure to glycogen synthase kinase 3 (GSK3) inhibitors alone, the expression of definitive endoderm specific genes GATA4, FOXA2, and SOX17 in hASCs significantly increased in a manner with activation of Wnt/β-catenin signalling.

However, the low engraftment of the available hepatocytes in the liver disease microenvironment has been a major obstacle.
Methods: Acellular human amniotic membrane was developed as a three-dimensional scaffold and combined with hepatocyte-like cells derived from human adipose stem cells to engineer a hepatic tissue graft that would allow hepatocyte engraftment in the liver effectively.
