Exploring on the elderly health management model in tropic area.

In this article, based on the characteristics of tropical area, we analyze the beneficial and the disadvantage of tropical area to human health, points out the existing problems in elderly health management pattern in the tropics area, accordingly we discuss how to establish tropical characterized elderly health management, and put forward constructive suggestions.

[A DNA vaccine encoding the extracellular domain of porcine endoglin induces antitumor immunity in a mouse colon carcinoma model].

Background & Objective: Endoglin is a marker of tumor angiogenesis. Increasing evidences proved that passive immunotherapy with anti-endoglin monoclonal antibody can effectively inhibit tumor growth, and xenogeneic homologous DNA vaccine can inhibit cross antitumor immunity. This study was to explore the inhibitory effect of a DNA vaccine encoding the extracellular domain of porcine endoglin (ppEDG) on tumor growth in a mouse colon carcinoma model.

[Committed hematopoeitic differentiation of embryonic stem cell].

Objective: To explore a stable technology for inducing ES cell to committed hematopoietic differentiation.

Methods: The effects of various inductive factors on BLast Colony-Forming Cell (BL-CFC) were investigated. In vitro differentiative system for ES cells was employed in this study.
