Recently, two-dimensional (2D) van der Waals (vdW) magnetic materials have emerged as a promising platform for studying exchange bias (EB) phenomena due to their atomically flat surfaces and highly versatile stacking configurations. Although complex spin configurations between 2D vdW interfaces introduce challenges in understanding their underlying mechanisms, they can offer more possibilities in realizing effective manipulations. In this study, we present a spin-orthogonal arranged 2D FeGaTe (FGaT)/CrSBr vdW heterostructure, realizing the EB effect with the bias field as large as 1730 Oe at 2 K.

Background: Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) is extensively utilized a range of scientific and industrial detection applications owing to its capability for rapid, in-situ detection. However, conventional LIBS models are often tailored to specific LIBS systems, hindering their transferability between LIBS subsystems. Transfer algorithms can adapt spectral models to subsystems, but require access to the datasets of each subsystem beforehand, followed by making individual adjustments for the dataset of each subsystem.

Primary Sjögren's syndrome (pSS) is a complex autoimmune disease characterized by lymphocytic infiltration and exocrine dysfunction, particularly affecting the salivary gland (SG). We employed single-cell RNA sequencing to investigate cellular heterogeneity in 11 patients with pSS and 5 non-SS controls. Notably, patients with pSS exhibited downregulated SOX9 in myoepithelial cells, potentially associated with impaired epithelial regeneration.

Magnetic van der Waals (vdW) materials possess versatile spin configurations stabilized in reduced dimensions. One magnetic order is the interlayer antiferromagnetism in A-type vdW antiferromagnet, which may be effectively modified by the magnetic field, stacking order, and thickness scaling. However, atomically revealing the interlayer spin orientation in the vdW antiferromagnet is highly challenging, because most of the material candidates exhibit an insulating ground state or instability in ambient conditions.

Molecularly imprinted film coated gold nanoprticles (MIP-AuNPs) were employed as surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) substrate for sensitive and selective recognition and quantification of l-Phenylalanine (L-Phe). The MIP was in-situ formed on the AuNPs by sol-gel technique using L-Phe as the template molecule, tetraethyl orthosilicate as the crosslinker and phenyltrimethoxysilane as the functional monomer. The efficient removal of template was achieved by ultrasonic treatment.

Atmospheric stability significantly influences the accumulation and dispersion of air pollutants in the near-surface atmosphere, yet few stability metrics have been applied as predictors in statistical PM concentration mapping practices. In this study, eleven stability metrics were derived from radiosonde soundings collected in eastern China for the time period of 2015-2018 and then applied as independent predictors to explore their potential in favoring the prediction of PM. The statistical results show that the in situ PM concentration measurements correlated well with these stability metrics, especially at monthly and seasonal timescales.
