Introduction: Open crus fracture is still difficult in clinical treatment because of the delayed fracture union and high rate of nonunion after the operation. A consensus has been reached that mechanical stress can promote fracture healing. We independently developed a stress stimulator, which can provide longitudinal pressure for the fixed fracture end of the lower legs to promote fracture healing.

Methods: From December 2005 to June 2010,18 patients with Herbert B2-type scaphoid fracture were treated with double screws prograde internal fixation through volar approach, including 14 males and 4 females with an average age of 33.11 years (ranged from 21 to 52 years).
Objective: To compare the clinical effects of three methods of internal fixations in treating intertrochanteric fractures in elderly patients.
Methods: From 2004 to 2008, the clinical data of 112 patients with intertrochanteric fractures were retrospectively analyzed. There were 63 males and 49 females, aged from 60 to 80 years with an average of 66.
Background: Operative stabilization without inhibiting epiphyseal growth of pediatric comminuted distal femur fractures presents specific challenges. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the clinical efficacy of pediatric physeal slide-traction plate (PPSP) fixation for comminuted distal femur fractures in children.
Methods: We prospectively followed 16 children who were managed PPSP for the treatment of comminuted distal femur fractures between 2005 and 2009.
The aim of this study was to observe the effects of a sliding plate on the morphology of the epiphyseal plate in goat distal femur. Eighteen premature female goats were divided randomly into sliding plate, regular plate and control groups. Radiographic analysis and histological staining were performed to evaluate the development of epiphyseal plate at 4 and 8 weeks after surgery.

The purpose of this study was to compare the results of two surgical approaches for cervical OPLL involving multiple levels; anterior direct decompression and fixation, and posterior indirect decompression and fixation. We present a retrospective review of 56 cases followed at a single Institution.

A prospective study was performed in 41 patients with femoral neck fractures treated with a proximal femoral locking plate with cannulated screws between January 2005 and December 2008. Twenty-five men and 16 women had a mean age of 47 years (range, 21-65 years).

However, none of these treatments are perfect. We have established a simple procedure with microendoscopy-assisted reduction and cannulated screw fixation for the treatment of this disease through a single mini-incision.

The aim of this study was to explore the efficacy and safety of the posteromedial anatomical plate for such fractures. Between February 2006 and January 2009, twenty-six cases of distal tibial fracture with anterior soft tissue injury were treated with posteromedial anatomical plates designed by our traumatic orthopedic center.

Methods: From June 2007 to December 2008, 19 cases of thoracolumbar fractures were treated with transpedicular intracorporeal hydroxyapatite grafting and pedicle screw fixation via paraspinal approach. There were 7 female and 12 male, ranging from 21 to 57 years of age (mean 40.
Background: It has been an intractable issue for the orthopaedic surgeons to treat pediatric epiphyseal injury and surrounding bone fracture using Kirschner wires and screws, etc. Earlier research has indicated that pediatric physeal slide-traction plate (PPSP) can fix bone fracture without restricting growth. However, it is not clear whether this material can be clinically used to treat pediatric epiphyseal injury and surrounding bone fracture.

Objective: To develop an epiphyseal slide-traction plate in child, which can supply the fracture a sufficient internal fixation, and will not restrain the growth of epiphyses. Animal experiments were carried out with the plates to compare the slide-traction with traditional plate.
Methods: Develop a slide-traction plate for the configuration of the femur condylus of children.
