Gas-phase reactions of [OsB] ( = 1-4) with methane at ambient temperature have been studied by using quadrupole-ion trap mass spectrometry combined with quantum chemical calculations. The [OsB] ( = 1-4) cluster ions can undergo dehydrogenation reactions with methane. Comprehensive analysis of the [OsB]/CH ( = 1-4) system with Os-complexes ([OsC] ( = 1-3) and [OsO] ( = 1-3)) shows that the large polarity of the cluster and the high sum of the pair energies between Os and the ligand in the ETS-NOCV combine to promote the ability of the cluster to activate methane.

This study presents an innovative approach to real-time modeling of urban drainage networks, leveraging a highly accurate coupled one- and two-dimensional hydrodynamic model to generate a training dataset for node water levels. By employing global states inferred from monitoring points as model inputs, this study overcomes the limitations imposed by the scarcity of monitoring data and the challenge of capturing all node levels. The Crossformer algorithm, which simultaneously accounts for correlation at both temporal and feature scales, is applied to enhance the precision of simultaneous water level predictions across the network.

The Soret effect is a significant factor in various scenarios, with thermodiffusion in binary systems serving as a common method for the study. Most research focuses rarely on the distribution characteristics of components in diffusion systems; and Soret coefficients in the porous media could not be obtained by typical methods based on the thermodiffusion column, which are particularly important in the field of oil and gas development. Moreover, experiments on ground conditions have struggled to determine the Soret coefficient accurately due to the convective effect caused by gravity differentiation.

Fishmeal is over-represented in the diets of large yellow croaker (Larimichthys crocea), and this farming mode, which relies heavily on fishmeal, is highly susceptible to the price of fishmeal and is unsustainable. Therefore, more and more studies on the large yellow croaker tend to replace fishmeal with land-based animal or plant proteins, but few studies have considered it from the genomic selection. In this study, we evaluated the survival rate (SR), final body weight (FBW), body weight gain (BWG), weight gain rate (WGR), and specific growth rate (SGR) of the large yellow croaker GS7 strain, which was obtained through genomic selection for tolerance to plant proteins and analyzed the differences in plant protein utilization between the GS7 strain and unselected commercial large yellow croaker (control group).

Drainage modeling that accurately captures urban storm inundation serves as the foundation for flood warning and drainage scheduling. In this paper, we proposed a novel coupling ideology that, by integrating 2D-1D and 1D-2D unidirectional processes, overcomes the drawback of the conventional unidirectional coupling approach that fails to properly represent the rainfall surface catchment dynamics, and provides more coherent hydrological implications compared to the bidirectional coupling concept. This paper first referred to a laboratory experimental case from the literature, applied and analyzed the coupling scheme proposed in this paper and the bidirectional coupling scheme that has been widely studied in recent years, compared the two coupling solutions in terms of the resulting accuracy and applicability, and discussed their respective strengths and weaknesses to validate the reliability of the proposed method.
