Enhancing decision-making under risks is crucial in various fields, and three-way decision (3WD) methods have been extensively utilized and proven to be effective in numerous scenarios. However, traditional methods may not be sufficient when addressing intricate decision-making scenarios characterized by uncertain and ambiguous information. In response to this challenge, the generalized intuitionistic fuzzy set (IFS) theory extends the conventional fuzzy set theory by introducing two pivotal concepts, i.

The use of bismuth (Bi) as an anode material in nickel-metal batteries has gained significant attention due to its highly reversible redox reaction and suitable operating conditions. However, the cycling stability and flexibility of nickel-bismuth (Ni//Bi) batteries need to be further improved. This paper employs a facile electrodeposition technique to prepare Bi nanosheets uniformly grown on a porous carbon cloth (PCC), denoted as Bi-PCC electrodes.

Interval-valued Fermatean fuzzy sets (IVFFSs) were introduced as a more effective mathematical tool for handling uncertain information in 2021. In this paper, firstly, a novel score function (SCF) is proposed based on IVFFNs that can distinguish between any two IVFFNs. And then, the novel SCF and hybrid weighted score measure were used to construct a new multi-attribute decision-making (MADM) method.

In recent years, various medical diagnosis problems have been addressed from the perspective of multi-attribute decision making. Among them, the three-way decision theory can provide a novel scheme to solve medical diagnosis issues under the framework of multi-attribute decision making via considering transforming relationships between loss functions and decision matrices. In this paper, we primarily explore a three-way decision method with tolerance dominance relations in ordered decision information systems.

The existing multiattribute decision-making (MADM) methods on multiscale information systems (MSISs) are generally studied from the utility point of view, which may cause two problems: 1) the objects are strictly classified into good or bad, which may lead to misclassification and 2) the risk attitude and psychological behaviors of decision makers are difficult to be reflected. In light of this, this article proposes a wide three-way decision (3WD) model on an MSIS, which combines 3WD theory and regret theory and can precisely make up for these two shortcomings. First, by virtue of regret theory, an outranking relation on the comprehensive MSIS is constructed according to the regret-rejoicing index.
