With the growing popularity of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), their improper use is significantly disrupting society. Individuals and organizations have been continuously researching methods for detecting UAVs. However, most existing detection methods fail to account for the impact of similar flying objects, leading to weak anti-interference capabilities.

However, the detection of extremely low number of CTCs in patient blood requires methods with high sensitivity and accuracy. We fabricated an arrayed geometrically enhanced mixing (GEM) chip with a "dislocation herringbone" layout based on cell immunoaffinity.

To investigate the immunoregulatory mechanisms of THCA354, we established a mouse model of 2,4‑dinitrofluorobenzene (DNFB)-induced allergic contact dermatitis (ACD). Responses of Th1, Th2, Th17 and regulatory T cells (Tregs) were determined by flow cytometry, reverse-transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).

CT scan showed near complete obstruction of portal vein and large SMV collateral development. After 3 months of neoadjuvant therapy, her portal vein flow improved significantly, SMV collateral circulation was diminished.

Objective: To evaluate the safety and efficacy of a novel method of simultaneous endoscopic and laparoscopic approach in patients with acute iatrogenic bile duct obstruction.
Design: Single arm study and single center design.
Clostridium difficile (C diff) colitis infection is the most common cause of nosocomial infectious diarrhea and the prevalence is increasing worldwide. Toxic megacolon is a severe complication of C diff colitis associated with high mortality. Gastrointestinal (GI) comorbidity and impaired smooth muscle contraction are risk factors for the development of C diff-associated toxic megacolon.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFOxidative stress and mitochondrial dysfunction are involved in the pathogenesis of diabetic nephropathy (DN). Resveratrol has potent protective effects on diabetes and diabetic complications including diabetic nephropathy. We aimed to investigate the protective effects of resveratrol on mitochondria and the underlying mechanisms by using an in vitro model of hyperglycemia.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFOxidative stress in diabetes coexists with a reduction in the antioxidant status, which can further increase the deleterious effects of free radicals. Berberine is one of the main alkaloids of Rhizoma coptidis which has been used to treat diabetes for more than 1400 years in China. The present study was designed to evaluate the protective effects of berberine against beta cell damage and antioxidant of pancreas in diabetic rats.
