Rail corrugation intensifies wheel-rail vibrations, often leading to damage in vehicle-track system components within affected sections. This paper proposes a novel method for identifying rail corrugation, which combines Complete Ensemble Empirical Mode Decomposition with Adaptive Noise (CEEMDAN), permutation entropy (PE), and Smoothed Pseudo Wigner-Ville Distribution (SPWVD). Initially, vertical acceleration data from the axle box are decomposed using CEEMDAN to extract intrinsic mode functions (IMFs) with distinct frequencies.

This study investigated the stabilization mechanism, storage stability, and in vitro digestion characteristics of oil-in-water fish oil emulsions stabilized by β-Lg modified through enzymatic hydrolysis, glycation, and fibrillation. The stabilization mechanism was elucidated by comparing droplet size, ζ-potential, interfacial protein thickness, and microstructure. Results showed that β-Lg modified through these combined processes formed a three-dimensional network, providing superior stabilization, while other modified proteins stabilized emulsions via surface adsorption.

There are many methods of water disinfection, and how to realize low energy consumption, high efficiency and safety sterilization has always been a research hotspot. In this work, CuS nanowires were grown on copper foam, and coated with N-doped carbon layer and Ag particles, which not only improved the conductivity and local field enhancement regions of the material, but also improved the durability and mechanical stability of CuS. DFT (Density functional theory) calculation shows that different kinds of N doping make the electron difference density and work function of the surrounding C different, which leads to high carrier transport capacity at the interface, and Ag anchored in N-doped carbon films can adsorb O.

High-purity dichlorosilane (DCS) is an important raw material for thin film deposition in the semiconductor industry, such as epitaxial silicon, which is mainly produced by trichlorosilane (TCS) catalytic decomposition in a fixed-bed reactor. The productivity of DCS is strongly dependent on the controlling of the TCS decomposition reaction process, associated with the cost in practical application. In this study, we have performed computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation on the TCS decomposition reaction kinetics in a cylindrical fixed-bed reactor, in which the effects of catalyst bed height, feed temperature, and feed flow rate are stressed to predict the conversion rate of TCS and the generation rate of DCS.
