The pinhole-free and defect-less perovskite film is crucial for achieving high efficiency and stable perovskite solar cells (PSCs), which can be prepared by widely used anti-solvent crystallization strategies. However, the involvement of anti-solvent requires precise control and inevitably brings toxicity in fabrication procedures, which limits its large-scale industrial application. In this work, a facile and effective co-solvent engineering strategy is introduced to obtain high- quality perovskite film while avoiding the usage of anti-solvent.

Discriminative detection between DO and HO is important for diverse fields but challenging due to their high similarity in chemical and physical properties. Current molecular sensors for DO detection generally rely on the spectral change of fluorophores with suitable p in response to DO and HO with slightly different pH acidity. Herein, we report a new and facile DO sensor by using singlet oxygen (O)-relevant afterglow luminescence of chlorin e4 nanoparticles (Ce4-NPs) to achieve distinguishable detection between DO and HO.

The most prevalent viruses currently causing diarrhea are norovirus and rotavirus, and rapid and sensitive detection methods are essential for the early diagnosis of disease. The purpose of this study was to establish a sensitive single-tube two-stage nucleic acid amplification method-reverse transcription recombinase-assisted PCR (RT-RAP)-for simultaneous detection of norovirus GII and group A Rotavirus, with the first stage consisting of isothermal reverse transcription recombinase-aided amplification (RT-RAA) and the second stage consisting of qPCR (quantitative PCR). RT-RAP is more sensitive than either RT-RAA or qRT-PCR (quantitative RT-PCR) alone.

Endogenous repair of critical bone defects is typically hampered by inadequate vascularization in the early stages and insufficient bone regeneration later on. Therefore, drug delivery systems with the ability to couple angiogenesis and osteogenesis in a spatiotemporal manner are highly desirable for vascularized bone formation. Herein, we devoted to develop a liquid crystal formulation system (LCFS) attaining a controlled temporal release of angiogenic and osteoinductive bioactive molecules that could orchestrate the coupling of angiogenesis and osteogenesis in an optimal way.

"Glutamine addiction" is a unique feature of triple negative breast cancer (TNBC), which has a higher demand for glutamine and is more susceptible to glutamine depletion. Glutamine can be hydrolyzed to glutamate by glutaminase (GLS) for synthesis of glutathione (GSH), which is an important downstream of glutamine metabolic pathways in accelerating TNBC proliferation. Consequently, glutamine metabolic intervention suggests potential therapeutic effects against TNBC.
